CMAC participates in the 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo
From November 26 to 30, 2024, the 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was held in Beijing. On November 26, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of CCPIT, hosted the opening ceremony.

Themed at "Connecting the World for a Shared Future", the 2nd CISCE was hosted by CCPIT. Five international organizations, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the International Chamber of Commerce joined as supporters. Hubei was the guest Province of Honor, with Hungary representing as the guest Country of Honor at the expo. With an exhibition area of 120,000 square meters, this year's CISCE had 6 key industrial chains and 1 exhibition area: Advanced Manufacturing Chain, Clean Energy Chain, Smart Vehicle Chain, Digital Technology Chain, Healthy Life Chain, Green Agriculture Chain and Supply Chain Services Area. 620 enterprises and institutions showcased new technologies, products, and services in key links in the upstream, midstream and downstream of the chains, involving 69 countries, regions, and international organizations, with foreign exhibitors accounting for 32% of total exhibitors.
During the CISCE, CMAC, as an exhibitor, showcased the international advanced institutional arbitration rules, the first ad hoc arbitration service rules in China, the maritime case collection of entrusted-mediation, promotional materials of CMAC flagship events including "China High-level Dialogue on Maritime Commercial Arbitration" and "China Maritime Justice and Arbitration Summit Forum", the "CMAC Cup" China Maritime Commercial Arbitration Essay Competition, five-language "China Newsletter on Maritime Commercial Arbitration"in Chinese, English, French, Spanish and Russian, and the Chinese-English bilingual "China Review of Maritime and Commercial Arbitration". These achievements fully demonstrate CMAC’s status as a leading maritime institution.
During the exhibition, representatives from foreign legal service institutions such as the Malaysian Bar Council, Malaysian International Mediation Centre (MIMC), and Louis Lacamp Law Firm, as well as representatives from domestic and foreign enterprises, industry associations, and relevant government departments visited the CMAC exhibit stall to exchange views with CMAC on concerns on the development of world shipping trade, the role of maritime arbitration, and the scope of cases accepted by CMAC, as well as the case procedures, management costs, and domestic and foreign business development. In addition, CMAC also took the initiative to visit exhibitors such as Google and BYD to conduct research on the legal risk prevention and dispute resolution that enterprises are concerned about, as well as collecting the feedback and suggestions towards CISCE.
