The 41-22 Amendments to the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code come into force in China

On November 22, the Maritime Safety Administration of the People's Republic of China issued the Notice on Matters related to the Implementation of the 41-22 Amendments to the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code.It is pointed out in the Notice that the 105th session of the Maritime Safety Committee of the International Maritime Organization adopted the 41-22 amendment to the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (hereinafter referred to as the IMDG Code) by resolution MSC.501 (105), which will take effect in China on January 1, 2024.The amendments mainly include the list of dangerous goods and specific cargo transport conditions, cargo packaging and documentation requirements.
