On August 18, China's EC contract was listed for trading in Shanghai International Energy Exchange, a subsidiary of the Shanghai Futures Exchange.

The EC contract is a highly innovative futures variety, using the "service index, international platform, RMB pricing, cash delivery" design scheme, it is the first domestic shipping futures variety and China's first listed in the commodity futures exchange index and cash delivery futures variety, and the first service futures variety.
